Moonstone will be closed tomorrow 12.21 due to snowy conditions.

Moonstone Preschool is partnering with Natalie Pompilio (Fiona’s aunt) to fundraise for the Moonstone Building Fund!! Natalie has co-wrote a children’s book called Philadelphia A to Z. This children’s book is an adorable, educational, and yet simple read. It teaches the alphabet through words and illustrations about the history and icons of Philadelphia. It’s a perfect nightime book and a great gift idea for the holidays!

Moonstone is selling the book for $15 and the proceeds benefit the Moonstone Building Fund. All purchases can be made at the reception desk with Enilda. Cash and checks are accepted. Please make any checks payable to Moonstone Preschool.

In addition to selling the book, Natalie has agreed to come into Moonstone to read her book and have a book signing!! This will take place on Wednesday, December 16th during curriculum. ALL pre-paid books will be held for the signing and then sent home (unless you do not want them signed).

Any child who regularly attends school on Wednesdays will participate in the reading, but only those who have pre-paid for books will be able to have their book signed. If you pre-pay for a book and your child does not attend school on Wednesdays, we will still hold it and have it signed for you. The books will be returned the next day your child attends school.

join us on december 4th, as we take a look at all that we have made together during the month of november. this month we thought a lot about cats. taking inspiration from our cat themed books, favorites being: “Black Cat” by Christopher Meyers and “Kat Kong” by Dav Pilkey.

this month also includes our
upstairs neighbors, ASCAB Capoeira. They will hold a dance purrformance from 7-8P. kids free. Parents & adults, small fee.

Please join us in October for Harvest Moon, a Moonstone Preschool alumni art show and reunion. Featuring works from past and present Moonstone students.

Former students that would like to submit work(s) to be included in Harvest Moon are encouraged to do so (9/28,9/29,9/30 btw 8-6P.) Please tag all submissions with contact info.
